Hey everybody. I hope you guys can bear with me while I do this. I'm not very good at describing myself. If there are things you wanna know that I don't describe in this, feel free to message me and ask. I'm a pretty open person.

So...where to start. I am currently a sociology major in college, and I hope to become a criminal profiler. I love sports, especially soccer (to play), football (to play and watch), and baseball (to watch)

I also love to write fiction. I'm actually working on a couple stories that I would love to get published some day. I also like to do different types of art, though I can be very critical of my artwork (my family says I don't give myself enough credit for anything I do, but whatever). My critical view of my work is the reason I nearly failed art class in high school.

Probably one of my greatest passions is acting. I love getting up on stage and just stepping into another person's shoes for a little while. I find it to be a really eye-opening experience, as well as a load of fun. However, don't expect me in any leading roles. I love to act, but I've never gotten a leading role and probably never will. But it's still a load of fun.

Oh what else to say. I love manga, video games, lots of different types of music, comedy, murder mysteries, cuddling, going for walks, spending time with my friends, and a lot more. I also love deep philosophical discussions. While I have my own beliefs, I love hearing what other people think and why. It ties into my love of debate because I like to talk to people about conflicting views and hear both sides of the story. Often times, I will play devil's advocate just to get myself and others to think deeply.

Not sure where to go from here. Oh, I guess I should let everyone know that I am very strong in what I believe in. For example, I firmly believe in gay marriage, and cannot imagine myself being with someone that is heavily against it. I am open to new ideas and opinions, but I am not going to change everything I believe in for someone else. There needs to be a solid argument to back it up.

(Are "Activity Partners" what they sound like? Or is it a terrible euphemism? I mean it literally. I want to find people to do things with... things like go to open mics and climb and hike and wander and eat beach pizza.)

I like having fun. A lot. And it's something I'm pretty serious about. I guess you could say I've been pretty influenced by the Andrew WK-style school of thought that if you think positively and work hard toward positivity and fun, it'll become a self-fulfilling kind of thing, and fun will follow you around. At the very least, I like to think that I make my friends' lives better by trying to think of fun things to do, rather than typical "nights out," whether that means nerdy board games or taking hikes or sledding, I just don't want everything to be the same. Also, when springtime comes, I can't wait to get out and chase flat plastic around a field with 13 other people.

Finally, if you think you're good at Smash Bros, Scrabble, Boggle, BANG!, Fluxx, or other fun games, let's play. Or you can teach me. I love games.

Well I'll keep this pretty simple and talk about my general intersts
1. First of all music is my biggest passion and means everything to me. I've played drums for 9 years and have been in a few different bands. I've toured the country with my old band/best friends and made it my carrer for a little while.

2. Sailing/Boating is another thing I just happen to find myself drawn to. I love water/the ocean. The beach is my favorite place in the world, so i guess it seems natural to enjoy boating as well. I hope to one day own my own company in the Caribbean doing day charters/scuba dive/booze cruises for people on their vacation.

3. Travel. i LOVE to travel. It feels incredable to escape from everything for a little while and cut yourself loose from your comfort zone and fully dive into another culture. I love meeting new people and experience new things and I'm happiest when I'm traveling somewhere new. Mainly, I've only been to different Islands in the caribbean, but I also been to Canada, and of course all across the U.S. from touring with my band and various other road trips I've taken, however I'm planning a trip @ the end of 2010 to go to Barcelona. I want to go everywhere possible!

4. Cooking. It's something I've always enjoyed doing. It's just another art form and something thats fun to play around with. I went to school for Culinary Arts and what I have my degree/certification in, however I've never followed it as a career path and never plan to. the food service industry is WAY too fast pace for me. Too much rushing around, stress, and you work the worst hours possible. I have a friend who's made it his carrer and even though he makes great money, he's working 90 hours every single week. Not something I strive to do. I just cook for family and friends and enjoy what I do.

5. Writing/Reading. Yet another passion. I've been working on a novel for the past year and a half and I'm not even 1/4 finished with it but I guess thats because I'm my own worst critic and a perfectionist so it's taking me so long. The end results are worth all the effort though. Also I love reading as well and would say I read anywhere from 5-10 books a month.

6. Tropical Islands. As I stated before... I love tropical islands and plan to live on one by the time I'm 30. It's something I've dreamed of doing ever since I was a little kid and have always been obsessed with Islands. I want to live somewhere that other people travel to for vacation.

7. Tattoo's. Pretty easy one here. Just something I love. I have 5 at the moment. two small ones of my elbows, inside of my lip, 1/2 upper sleeve on my right arm, and and my whole leftside/ribs with still more to come. One of my best friends is a world famous tattoo artist also, so it makes things easy hah. I just love any type of creativity... aka the arts. I love letting your mind run free and using your brain to create something not so ordinary.

One more random quick fact about me is I like to set hgh goals for myself. It keeps me productive. For example, I want to learn to speak 5 languages before I die. I (obviously) have english down and I'm in the process of learning spanish.

I don't really want to be doing this online dating thing, but I don't get out much so here I am! I am going to nursing school right now but I will graduating in December. I have a huge weakness for good stand-up comedy. I'm a pretty mellow person for the most part, but I'm usually feeding off the energy of those around me. Well lets see, Im 22 have a full time job, and am a full time student. I guess i have what you would call a New England work ethic. Im pretty straight forward, and dont care much for drama or games. Music in particular is my biggest passion. I love going to Live shows, and hope to attend more in the upcoming year. I need to upgrade my music collection. Im always on the lookout for new and interesting artists. I play guitar casually. I own two electrics. I basically suck, but enjoy it very much. Having musical discussions, and putting together musical compilations for other like minded music snobs is always fun. Back in the day, those would be called " mix tapes". I havnt outgrown this obsession with music that ive had since i was 8. I dont think its going away anytime soon.

I can be somewhat of a strange dude at times, in a good way of course. At least by my standards. And i enjoy people on the eccentric side. In fact, i insist upon being a little off kilter. Now, with that being said, i do enjoy quite a few of what are considered normal activities. I love the outdoors. Mountain climbing. Running. Bike riding. I enjoy checking out different cuisine.
